Kieffer Pear is a vigorous, very hardy, heavy-bearing and self-fertile tree that can tolerate both drought and seasonal wet conditions. It produces at an early age of three to five years and drops slowly from October through November. Kieffer and Rutt Rage Winter Pear are two of the most highly vigorous, extremely heavy cropping pears we have seen in our pear groves. Coupled together, you can have an ideal slow drop combination from late October through December. Wildlife Species: Whitetail, Turkey.
