Chestnut Crab
Chestnut Crab was developed at the University of Minnesota in 1946. It's an annual bearing tree producing very sweet, nutty and flavorful large 2" crabapples. Chestnut Crab is a vigorous grower and known to do well in a wide range of soils. The crabapple ripens slowly over a three to four week period beginning in September. Wildlife Species: Whitetail, Turkey.
